I just put new brakes all the way around on my 84 Fiero, now my passenger side caliper locks up on me Angry Shouldn't the tire and wheel turn fairly easy after you install new brake shoes??? I didn't disconnect any brake line or anything, just squeezed the piston in and popped out the old shoes and put in new. What could cause this?Huh

My car had this problem when my rubber brake hoses got old, the metal mounts holding them to the control arm rusted and pinched the line.

Try opening the bleeder valve and seeing if the wheel frees up, may just be your rubber line is bad.

I had a similiar headache involving the crush washers where the hose goes into the caliper.I must have used 40 washers and none would seal.Went to Gm and they installed 2 sets of new calipers, new hoses, all leaked at the crush washer again.Ended up being crappy quality Gm calipers and they would lock up also, dont ask me why.Ended up having to get aftermarket calipers which Gm did for me.
