I did try this before borrowing the Mityvac bleeder. I left it for several days. I failed to mention that I removed all the fluid from the line when I changed the cylinders. I read somewhere that there is a pressure relief valve in the master to keep pressure off the throwout bearing. Is that true?
Thanks!

I have replaced the clutch slave and master cylinders in my 1984 Fiero. The parts replaced were Bendix that match the originals. I bled the system by standard method of using the pedal without success. I bled the system with a Mityvac, with the same results. I can't get any pressure at the slave. No leaks that I can find and it's not losing fluid during the bleading procedures. The pedal was straightened back to the original position to cure the bending problem 1984's experience and is aligned with the rod well. Clutch pedal is still is lower than the brake pedal as it was before the work was done. Should I buy the adjustable rod Rodney Dickman? I am stumped. Is there an internal bleed off valve in the clutch master? Huh
